Deadstock fabric is excess materials from textile mills productions and garment factories. It can exist for various reasons: maybe they ordered too much, they accidentally dyed it the wrong colour, or maybe there were a few small imperfections.
Peachskin has a smooth texture and is soft to touch. It is lightweight has a beautiful drape. It has the luxury feel of silk and viscose but is inexpensive, hardly creases and doesn’t need much ironing. It is perfect for sewing a floaty dress, skirt, culottes and blouses.
