Honouring the great British countryside and diversity of natural beauty spots, Liberty Fabrics designers drew inspiration from every aspect of our woodland landscapes. The collection takes us on an enchanting stroll through the very best of what nature offers, from delicate meadows to the sweet chorus of birdsong found in blooming hedgerows and the crisp rustling leaves that can be found underfoot. The collection is traditionally screen printed onto Lasenby Cotton, a base specifically developed for quilting and craft projects.
Forest Friends was inspired by an archival paper impression dating from 1927 and edited in the Liberty Design Studio with the addition of adorable woodland animals. Spot the tiny squirrels, hedgehogs, mice, and birds as they play hide and seek amongst the scattered sprays of leafy tufts and ditsy flowers.
Designed specifically for quilting, our soft Lasenby cotton base is suitable for a range of creative projects, including bedspreads, cushions and cosies. It is machine washable and durable enough for daily use, with each richly coloured design created using traditional screen-printing techniques.
