The Mako Cotton Thread (50wt) from Aurifil is tailor made for piecing, quilting and topstitching. Incredibly durable yet thin, the Mako Cotton Thread creates amazingly flat and crisps seams whatever you’re sewing!
Aurifil Mako 50 is a 2-ply thread made from the finest Eygptian long staple cotton which is mercerised to give it a beautiful sheen. It behaves very well in the sewing machine, and can also be used as a bobbin thread. We recommend you use a Sharp/Microtex or Quilting needle 80/12.
