Join Debbie Shore and Suzie Duncan for a fun and informative workshop all about sewing zips with confidence. Throughout the day, you’ll explore a variety of zip insertion techniques, learning when and where to use each one, before putting your new skills into practice by creating a simple zipped project to take home.

Whether you’ve always avoided sewing zips or would simply like to improve your technique, this workshop is packed with practical tips, expert guidance and plenty of encouragement. Suitable for confident beginners and beyond, it’s the perfect opportunity to take the fear out of sewing zips and add a valuable new skill to your sewing repertoire!

Kit is included in the price of the ticket.

Time: 10am – 3pm

Please bring your own sewing machine and basic sewing kit

We have a small number of JUKI sewing machines available to rent if you aren’t able supply your own at £5 for the day. Please let us know when you book if you will need a sewing machine.

Places are limited so please book early.

Location – Buckminster, Leicestershire

This workshop will be held in the village hall, next to the Debbie Shore Sewing Shop. There is ample parking and wheelchair access.
