This is a pre-printed 30″ square interfacing to enable you to create a perfect smocked panel. The Woven Ribbons design is really versatile, three designs can be created.

Canadian smocking is a way of marking, pinching, pleating and sewing fabric to create beautiful, textured designs on fabric. These panels are pre-printed with the design, which means no drawing grids! Simply iron the printed interfacing on to the wrong side of your fabric and hand-sew the red lines.

Plain cotton fabric shows the design well, we’ve used a soft canvas.
