Ramie is a natural fibre fabric made from the China grass nettle plant. Often compared to linen, it is breathable, absorbent, quick-drying and resistant to heat, washing and mildew. Like linen, ramie softens beautifully with repeated washing but has a naturally crinkled texture.
Ramie linen-handle fabric offers the look and feel of linen at a more affordable price, making it a versatile choice for both clothing and home projects. It is ideal for garments such as trousers and tops, as well as household items including tablecloths, bedding and soft furnishings.
