Sewing Machine Cover Workshop with Suzie Duncan – 29th November 2026

Join us at Debbie Shore Sewing for a relaxed and creative day of sewing, where you’ll make a beautiful bobbin patchwork sewing machine cover while learning useful patchwork and construction techniques along the way.

During the workshop, you’ll be guided through piecing the bobbin-inspired patchwork design before turning it into a practical cover for your sewing machine. With expert tuition, plenty of tips and a friendly atmosphere, it’s a lovely project for building confidence while enjoying a day of sewing with others.

You’ll leave with a finished machine cover to take home, perfect for adding a handmade touch to your sewing space.

Kit is included in the price of the ticket.

Time: 10am – 3pm

Please bring your own sewing machine and basic sewing kit

We have a small number of JUKI sewing machines available to rent if you aren’t able supply your own at £5 for the day. Please let us know when you book if you will need a sewing machine.

Places are limited so please book early.

Location – Buckminster, Leicestershire

This workshop will be held in the village hall, next to the Debbie Shore Sewing Shop. There is ample parking and wheelchair access.
