In stock

This fabric features illustrated, bunches of flowers, almost like bouquets, set out across the fabric sporadically against a block colour background. The flowers are garden flowers including pansies and English roses.

Seersucker fabric has been around for centuries. Its name comes from the Persian phrase shir-o-shakhar, meaning “milk and sugar” for the alternating textures. The textile is made, from cotton, linen, or silk woven on a loom with threads at different tensions.

This lightweight cotton would be ideal for dressmaking and nightwear for adults and children. It could also be used for crafting and homewares.
